[First Impressions] 真真 JingJing Ice-cream Bar and Cafe Of the few more popular 'hipster' cafes that popped up in Yaowarat recently, I must say I like Jing Jing the most. I wouldn't go so far to say that the ice cream is amazing, but owner Poo really shows her creativity in some of her flavours. She doesn't hold back on her alcoholic ice cream combos, and has monthly specials, with this month's being the very interesting and refreshing sugar cane sorbet (which she pairs with Chang beer ice cream, well, because, well, elephants eat sugar cane). What I am more sold about Jing Jing is the fact that it sells ice cream at Yaowarat and has a really beautiful 2nd floor for you to enjoy a bit of a breather. It hits the spot as the ideal rest-stop in the middle of your sweaty Chinatown exploration. PS.
