[First Impressions] Chuan Wei Fang Sichuan Restaurant In my 8 years here, Sichuan food has proven to be completely elusive. Upon arrival at Chuan Wei Fang, I observed that all the customers were native Chinese, which was a good sign. My heart pounded with excitement as I went through the menu full of familiar dishes I hardly see in Thailand. Truth be told, the food did not totally live up to my high expectations, but it was yummy nonetheless, especially the 辣子 spicy stir-fried chicken. I could eat the entire plate myself and ask for seconds. Be prepared for a full dose of Sichuan flavours as this place does not go stingy when adding the numbing Sichuan peppercorns in most of their dishes.
