This branch of Jim Thompson restaurant sits inside the front area of Jim Thompson Museum. While most eateries near tourist attractions tend to be mediocre at best, Jim Thompson restaurant, on the contrary, is the real deal. With the brand having its own farm, museum and silk company, the food here is guaranteed to be crafted with good culinary taste as well as high-quality ingredients. The menu consists of Western dishes and Thai dishes. The "Yam Som O" (Thai style grapefruit-and-prawn salad) was pleasantly refreshing. The Chicken Mussaman was to-die-for...the best I've had in a long while! Their bakery and cakes, however, wasn't that outstanding.
