สำหรับใครที่กำลังมองหาร้านอาหารจีนบรรยากาศดีๆเพื่อไปฉลองเทศกาลตรุษจีนกัน ห้องอาหาร “China Palace (ไชน่า พาเลซ)” ที่อยู่คู่โรงแรม Prince Palace มากว่า 20 ปีนี้ก็จัดเป็นอีกหนึ่งตัวเลือกที่น่าสนใจค่ะ ด้วยความที่โรงแรมนี้สร้างบนพื้นที่ซึ่งอดีตเคยเป็นที่ตั้งของวังมหานาคในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 มาก่อน แม้ตัวโรงแรมจะสร้างเป็นตึกสูงแบบร่วมสมัย แต่สไตล์การตกแต่งก็แฝงไว้ด้วยความย้อนยุคที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากวังเก่า ในส่วนของห้องอาหาร China Palace นั้นตั้งอยู่บนชั้น 32 ซึ่งมีเพดานสูงดูโอ่อ่า รายล้อมด้วยผนังกระจกจรดพื้นจรดเพดานที่เผยให้เห็นวิวทิวทัศน์แบบพาโนรามาได้รอบทิศ สวยงามมากๆ อาหารที่นี่จะเป็นสไตล์จีนกวางตุ้งที่คุ้นลิ้นกันดี กับมื้อนี้เรามากันเป็นหมู่คณะและสั่งเป็นอาหารเซ็ต จึงขอให้ทางโรงแรมจัดเสิร์ฟอาหารในรูปแบบโต๊ะจีนให้ serving size และรายละเอียดบางอย่างจึงอาจแตกต่างจากการสั่งแบบ a la carte บ้างนะคะ ➡ ติ่มซำ จัดรวมมาทั้งขนมจีบกุ้ง สาหร่ายห่อปูอัดนึ่ง เห็ดหอมไส้หมู และลูกชิ้นกุ้งผัดซอส รสชาติดี ทานเพลินใช้ได้ค่ะ ➡ ปลาทอดครีมสลัด คล้ายกุ้งทอดครีมสลัด แต่ใช้เป็นเนื้อปลาชุบเกล็ดขนมปังทอดแทนกุ้ง ฝีมือทอดดีไม่อมน้ำมัน ครีมสลัดรสเข้มข้นเปรี้ยวหวานกำลังดีเลย ➡ กระเพาะปลาน้ำแดง สำหรับอาหารชุดนี้ กระเพาะปลาที่ใช้เป็นกระเพาะปลาทอดแต่ว่าเคี่ยวจนนุ่ม ใส่เนื้อปูมาให้พอสมควร รสชาติน้ำซุปกลมกล่อม ความข้นกำลังดีไม่ใส่แป้งเยอะค่ะ สรุปว่าฝีมือปรุงดีมากแต่วัตถุดิบคือตามราคา ถ้าใครอยากจัดแบบพรีเมี่ยม ในเมนู a la carte มีเป็นซุปกระเพาะปลาสดให้สั่งด้วยล่ะ ➡ หมูกรอบ + เป็ดย่าง จัดเสิร์ฟมาในจานเดียวกัน เป็ดย่างหนังบาง เนื้อนุ่มปานกลาง น้ำราดรสดีกลมกล่อม ส่วนหมูกรอบคือเด็ด หนังกรอบกริ๊บ เนื้อนุ่ม แทรกมันกำลังดี อร่อยสอบผ่านค่ะ ➡ ปลากระพงนึ่งมะนาว เมนูนี้คือดีงามมาก เนื้อปลานุ่มนวลไม่แห้งเกินไป และไม่ติดกลิ่นคาวเลย รสชาติเปรี้ยวนำหอมมะนาว เผ็ดพริกเผ็ดกระเทียมพอชูรสได้เหมาะเจาะ เต็มสิบไม่หักเลยจ้า ➡ ข้าวผัดยางเจา (หยางโจว) เม็ดข้าวนุ่ม ผัดได้ร่วนเรียงเม็ดดี ใส่หมูแดง กุนเชียง กุ้งมาพอสมควร รสชาติกลางๆ เป็นการปิดท้ายในส่วนของคาวได้ดีเลย ➡ แปะก้วยรวมมิตรเย็น จบมื้อนี้อย่างสมบูรณ์ด้วยของหวาน แปะก้วยรวมมิตรใส่น้ำแข็ง ใส่เครื่องทั้งเม็ดแปะก้วย เม็ดบัว พุทราเชื่อมและถั่วแดง น้ำเชื่อมหวานกำลังดี ชื่นใจมากๆค่ะ 🎉 สำหรับช่วงตรุษจีนนี้ ทางโรงแรมมีจัดโปรโมชั่น “แพ็คเกจตรุษจีน” ที่รวมทั้งห้องพัก + อาหารเช้า + เป็ดปักกิ่ง + ติ่มซำไว้ด้วยกันในราคาฟินๆ และยังมีอาหารชุดสำหรับฉลองตรุษจีนกันเป็นมื้อใหญ่ๆให้เลือกหลายแบบ ใครสนใจลองเข้าไปดูรายละเอียดที่หน้าเพจของโรงแรมได้เลยค่ะ 📱 FB: https://www.facebook.com/PRINCEPALACE/ ===================================== Sitting high on the 32nd floor of Prince Palace Hotel, “China Palace” offers Cantonese cuisine with a glorious panoramic view of old Bangkok. For 24 years since its opening, the restaurant has been run by a highly experienced head chef Songwut Makanuntchot (เชฟทรงวุฒิ มรรคอนันต์โชติ). On this visit, we went with a big group and ordered set menu served in Chinese banquet style at “group price”. The details and serving size were therefore different from a la carte menu, but we got a taste of the chef’s excellent cooking skill nevertheless. ➡ Dim Sum Taste was good. The wrappers were soft and thin. The pork/shrimp fillings were bouncy. The mushrooms were thick, juicy, and had no bitter taste at all. Not bad. ➡ Fried Fish with Fruit Salad The deep-fried battered fish fillets were crispy and not oily at all. Pieces of fresh fruits were mixed with thick, creamy, sweet-and-sour salad dressing. This rich yet refreshing dish was well-executed. Perfect to prepare the palate for other following dishes. ➡ Fish Maw Soup The soup had mellow taste and good consistency…delicious! For this set menu, fried fish maw was used. Premium grade dried (not fried) fish maw can be ordered from a la carte menu. ➡ Crispy Pork Belly + Roasted duck The roasted duck had thin, fragrant skin and moderately tender meat. The crispy pork belly was excellent! With thin crispy skin, tender meat and melt-in-the-mouth fat. ➡ Steamed Seabass with Lime and Chilies My favorite dish of this meal! The seabass was fresh, with no unpleasant fishy odor at all. The meat was not too dry. The seasoning was spot-on, with a good balance between zesty lime and spicy fresh garlics and chilies. ➡ Fried Rice “Yang Jao” style (Yang Zhou Fried Rice) Taste was moderate, with quite generous amount of shrimps, barbeque pork, and Chinese sausages. ➡ Iced Assorted Ginkgo Nuts in Syrup Ginkgo nuts, lotus seeds, red beans, and plums were put in syrup and ice. This refreshing dessert ended the meal excellently! 🎉 For this upcoming Chinese New Year, the hotel has some staycation packages with Peking duck and/or dim sum.
