[First Impressions] Supanniga Eating Room The food at Supanniga isn't new to me. It's one of a handful of Thai restaurants I recommend friends to all the time. That said, the new opening of Sanam Chai MRT Station has changed the game completely. Going to Supanniga Tha Thien is a breeze now. You can not only enjoy the excellent food at Supanniga, but enjoy it by the majestic Chao Phraya River right opposite Wat Arun. Go during sunset and you can bask in the many faces of the Temple of Dawn. Back to the food, you must always order the Moo Chamuang (stewed pork in chamuang leaves) and burnt cabbage at Supanniga, and I will leave you to choose the rest at your own preference. Dessert-wise, the Thai tea panna cotta and Mango Sticky Rice (with coconut ice-cream) are safe bets. Embarrassed to say this was the first time I dined in Bangkok by the river opposite Wat Arun, and I admit that it's something everyone in Bangkok should do at least once. With it being much more accessible now, there really should not be any excuse to skip this experience, especially over food as solid as Supanniga's. #watarun #thathien #templeofdawn #sanamchaimrt #sanamchaimyfoot #supannigaeatingroom #supannigathathien #strangerinbangkok
