[BIB Gourmand 2018] This restaurant serves traditional Thai food in an ancient Thai-style house aged over 200 years. The concept here is to represent Thai culture as well as her food. Every dish is decorated with sculpted fruits and vegetables. Waiters and waitresses all wear ancient Thai clothes. Customers can choose to either eat the ordinary way, or to sit on the floor and eat with hands like in ancient time (Reservation required for the "eat with hands" experience). And wearing Thai costumes to dine there is encouraged. The menu is quite vast. Most of the dishes have big serving size suitable for sharing. However, they recently launched week-day lunch sets for solo diners who want to try a little bit of many things. And seasonal menu for this summer - "Khao shae" or rice with iced jasmine water with condiments - is available until the end of May. Don't forget to try some Thai desserts at the end of the meal..My favourite is purple potato boiled in sweet coconut cream. Worth a try if you're looking for the old-Siam culinary experience.
