As suggested by its name, this restaurant offers western food, but with a bit of localisation 👩🏼🍳 I do recommend this place for everything from desserts 🧁🍨, to big meals 🍔🥗 or simply just beverages ☕️🍹 (tea/coffee/soda). The taste is fabulous and the quality has not dropped 👍🏻 And yes, the restaurant is also nicely decorated. No wonder many people come here for photo collection as well 📸
Price range: approx 800-1,000 baht (main course, drinks, and a dessert)

-Khon Kaen City- A paradise to chill out 😌
The interior and exterior are fantastic! 🌈🌷It more or less gives you an impression of cosy European cafe ☕️ The desserts look rich, heavenly, and yummy and they taste as great! 🥧🧁 (eg. crepe, cake, brownie, puff pancake)Their drinks menu is also full of creativity ✨🍹 (eg. homemade yam with soda, coconut matcha) I really really recommend this cafe!

Price range: approx. 250-300 baht for one dessert & one drink)

Like the small garden and how they decorate the restaurant. A wide range of menu selection with good taste. I ordered a fancy roll called something on fire and they used a small culinary torch to light up fire!
Not a place for trendy sweets though...

- Tiny parking space

This is a not-to-miss place for matcha lovers 🍵💕 Amazed at their well-designed and catchy menu, I find it really hard to make a decision 🤔 Many of their japanese-style sweets and drinks look sooo irresistible ✨🌈 And in the end? I’m happy with the taste hehe 😸

Relaxing and greenery🌳🌳A blend of Thai and Industrial style decor (well, I think). A good number of drinks menu: coffee, tea, and soda🥤☕️ Grab something new with their unique drinks, like americano and yuzu ✨
+ My Chinese friends have been here and they like it, so..I follow suit 😎
+ Despite its rather mysterious location, the cafe is crowded which really proves its popularity 👍🏻
+ Kids-friendly 👦🏻🧒🏻 thanks to its homey outdoor area
= no proper parking but you can park nearby the cafe.
- quite a long wait...
- matcha latte is not recommended ❌

This place is “good enough” if you miss those restaurants in Bangkok’s Korea Town 🇰🇷 🤗 The taste is good, yay!! 🎊 You can choose either buffet or a la carte🥢 Options for bbq are sort of limited but non-bbq menus offer many choices 🏅

- Not recommended for beef eaters 🐮❌ as the menu is all about pork 🐷👑
- No parking space

This place is quiet so it might be good for dating 🥂or escaping the crowd 👍🏻The taste is 🆗, food presentation is 🆗
+ Easily find parking space at the Rachawadee Resort & Hotel, situated right behind the restaurant
= Good service yet remember to tell the waitresses when you want the main course. (My main course came just one minute after the starters which was a no-no ❌)
- Don’t like the restaurant’s interior. It gives me an impression of international fusion cuisine instead.
Price range (starter + main course, excluding wine): 700-900 Baht per person.

Since my arrival in Khon Kaen, this restaurant (Aim-Aod) has been in the top list of breakfast places 👑. It is a traditional and well-known local restaurant serving a variety of breakfast dishes that are filling 💁🏻♀️. So first and foremost you will get a sense of achievement by checking in this famous breakfast spot 📸
I tried pan fried eggs with toppings 🍳and pork stuffed bread (signature) and Thai-style pig’s organ soup🐷. The taste is satisfying, not like super delicious, and the price is considered cheap (about 100 Baht per person).

ฮารุ ฮานะ (Haru Hana はるはな Japanese Café) อำเภอเมืองขอนแก่น อาหารญี่ปุ่น
A mix of modern and minimalist ambience. Wide selection of menu items with good taste 🍣🍱🍜🍛 Famous for sushi/nigiri sushi dishes and I also give the thumbs up 🍣Try as well their tempting desserts! 🍧🍰🍡

= The restaurant seems popular even lunchtime so the food could take a little while.
- prawn tempura looks more like fried prawn but tastes fine 🍤
