Sky Train Jazz Club อนุสาวรีย์ชัยสมรภูมิ บาร์
Little rooftop restaurant / bar on the corner of Rangnam Road at the height of the BTS. Good place i've been going through the years for the food and ambiance.
Thumbs up at the raw shrimps (kung chae nampla) that are quite big and the duck breast in black pepper (not pictured) that is very tasy.

Soei is a very popular restaurant for a good reason, the food is delicious!
Grilled Shrimp Salad / Pla Kung Pao : Beautiful shrimps in a sweet amd sour sauce.
Pad Phet Kai Baan / Spicy Stirfry Village Chicken : Not so spicy, which is fine. Tasty chicken and innards.
Chu chee Platu / Mackerel in Chu Chee Curry : Rich and soft aromatic curry on deepfries macherel. Best dish of the meal!
Poo Nim Pad Pong Karee / Soft Shell Crab Curry : The curry is well dosed, quite oily with just enough eggs. A lot of crab too :)
One big negative point is the SLOW service. We waited 1 hour at 11am in the morning to get served, no need to say that the restaurant was empty. In their defense, its clearly written in the menu and on the restaurant walls that the service is slow.

My favorite Japanese Restaurant in Bangkok. Very very casual restaurant with a vintage style. The prices are very affordable and the quality of the food is good! Don't expect anything fancy, but expect a good time with friends! The Thai staff speak English and Japanese which is a plus! The cleanliness could be improved tho. I usually go for the kimchi/pork soup and a bunch of barbecued skewers... and a highball 😎

FUFU Shabu อารีย์ ชาบู/สุกี้/หม้อไฟ
Taiwanese Style Shabu in Ari! You can select beef/pork/chicken from the menu or pick yourself from the buffet that has a huge selection of different items. There is also 4-5 different kinds of soup to choose from. The cheesy fishballs are great, but the best is probably the dessert section. There is a lot of ice cream, a cotton candy machine and you can also do your own pancakes!

โอปป้า บาโบ รัชดา・ห้วยขวาง อาหารเกาหลี
Korean street food shop at the Rachada Train Night Market (talad rotfai rachada). Lots of cheesy and comforting food that are great with some sochu :) Been there a few times and this is becoming one of my favorite at the market. These fish cakes skewers are awesome!

Nice bar/restaurant on the hip "soi nana" in Bangkok's Chinatown! A handful of delicious tapas and good sangria are on the menu. The croquetas were probably my favorites along the potatos bravas!!! Totally worth the trek to Chinatown :)

Jimdak 찜닭 (จิมดัก) สะพานควาย อาหารเกาหลี
Cool Korean Fusion restaurant on the cute Soi Aqua near Saphan Kwai intersection. Their signature "jimdak" dish named after the restaurant is to die for. Comforting braised chicken that is very tender. You can also cook your own takoyaki balls which is a cool experience :)

The Fat Tap เอกมัย เนื้อย่าง/ยากินิกุ
Recently opened in Ekkamai, the little brother of Fatty's Bar on rama 9 serves your favorite american food. They even got canadians favorite, the poutine with real cheese curds ! We went also for the smoked ribs that were great! Overall the food is great although maybe not for the waist 😋

Fatbird อารีย์ อาหารอิตาเลียน
Great food at Fatbird. Those curcuma chicken wings were great ! The zuchinis were perfectly done, even if it looks like a boring dish, I will order it again next time. The salmon was also delicious, good size and firm. The only down side were the accompanying veggies that were cold.

KOSMO Resto & Bar พระโขนง-ปรีดีพนมยงค์ บาร์
Recently opened restaurant in Phrakanong right at W District (they got their own building, it's NOT a shop in the market). The half-chicken (390baht) "rotisserie" style is quite big and very juicy ! The beef tartare at 450baht is reasonnable sized and was my fav dish of the meal ! The last dish ordered was the pizza that is fine, but the crust was a bit too crispy/airy ! Thumbs up to the friendly owner too :)
