Uchidaya Ramen
Silom
Japanese
Their signature, 'IE kei ramen' is thick noodles with strong tonkotsu soup from Yokohama. I just had authentic hakata ramen at ikkosha last week so I can't stop comparing... ikkosha's ramen was way better for me. I thought it would be too heavy and ordered small bowl. I regretted immediately. it's tiny and 180B. The soup was very salty... it's not my cup of tea.

Isan food/Som Tum
the busiest isaan restaurant on soil rangnam. I recommend everything (apart from gai yang). we like their namtok, somtum, chicken wings and nua yang. we cant get a seat sometimes. always busy! they also have awesome jimjum. it's big enough for 3 or 4 people. I think their jimjum is the best in Bangkok.

authentic hakata ramen 😃 The tonkotsu soup was very rich. it was kind of too heavy for me, but red ginger helped to finish it. I was so full and satisfied at the end. it costs about 200B. I will come back when Im in a tonkotsu ramen mood

Everest Kitchen Bangkok

I was craving gyoza today, and didn't want to go out far, so we had Indian food in our local area. Yes, for Nepali gyoza, Momo😃😃😃 It's a good restaurant for veggie curries as well. I like their palak dhal, matar paneer, aloo bhindi and dhal fry. it costs about 150B for a veggie curry but it's big portion.

Sendai ramen Mokkori
Thonglor
Japanese
I go there because of the owner. He is the politest and nicest person I've ever seen in Bangkok. He always melts my heart😍 Additionally, it's quite cheap to drink and eat even it's close to BTS Thong lor. One bottle of asahi beer, ramen and 2 dishes from otsumami menu cost only 333B. I reckon you will feel that you would love to support his business!

Ekkamai
Thai
We don't see Japanese expats at isaan restaurants usually, but this is an exception😃 more Japanese than Thai! Also, it's the cheapest to eat out in this area. Their signature, grilled chicken ( gai yang) is so delicious!

Nantsuttei, King Power (なんつッ亭 )
Victory Monument
Ramen
I ordered mini kuro-nantsuttei ramen. Tonkotsu soup is kind of greasy, so i don't need a full bowl. It was a right dicision. Im so full 😣 It tastes good but I reckon it's a bit overpriced. it costs 150B++ = 177B. Free green tea and snacks are included.

Sun dubu chige is seriously delicious. It comes with rice and small dishes (omelette, kimuchi, macaroni salad and etc). And it just costs 120B...! I want to eat here once a week.
