A Pink Rabbit + Bob at Tha Tien Sanamchai Bakery/Cake
Called Pink Rabbit Cakes and Bob’s Coffee, this little cafe that serves up some really delicious cakes and superb coffee is a must stop shop when along the Maharat Road in Bangkok. Not a very big shop but very big flavors. Their Strawberry crepe cake, sea coconut cake, taro cake and the lemon tea is a great combination. The seating is casual and comfy, prices on the menu is reasonable and it is reminiscent of the old TV series FRIENDS kind of place! #nov2018

FARM to TABLE Pak Khlong Talat・Memorial Bridge・Ban Mo Thai
Literally from Farm to Table with the freak market just almost to the back door this unique little gem of a restaurant cafe is nestled in the heart of the back lanes leading from the market and flower market. Known mostly only to the locals and the few who seek out such little gems, it is a place that burst with fresh flavors in their fusion style food that the ingredients are freshly sourced. Try their unique desserts which consist of little balls made from job tear grains and glutinous rice served with soya and sesame ice cream, or the gelato ice cream embedded with s nice salted egg yolk served with coconut cream. If you are not into desserts, check out their main menu of grilled chicken with passion fruit sauce or the popular Salted soy bean with pork minced and served with fresh vegetable sticks dish of which ours was the last available! #nov2018

Old Town Cafe Bangkok Charoen Krung・Wang Burapha Cafe
A little cafe near Sanam Luang, Old Town Cafe Bangkok is a mix between a Chinese Tea shop and a Coffee cafe. It looks like they specialize more in drinks than food and patrons seem to be tea aficionados. We had a tea called In-Ta Old Sod Iced Tea which is a fresh brewed iced tea mixed with traditional Thai herbal medicine. Okay, this tea is meant for those needing a revival if they have fainted! We suggest you stick to normal Chinese Tea or coffee which is really nice here! They have a small selection of snacks such as Danish and Brownies or Asian Baguettes which looked decent and good. #nov2018

Baan Wannakovit Bang Lamphu Thai
A house full of history on its own, Baan Varnnakovida is located almost in a back lane near the Khaosan area could be easily missed. However, missing it would be a shame. This old house is one of the famous places for classic and traditional Thai cuisine reminiscent of the cuisine from the Toyal House. In fact, the house itself which is more than 100 years old belonged to HM King Rama VI and passed down to his present ancestors. The speciality here is Khao Chae which is a unique dish of watered down rice infused with scented candles and served with about six different delicately made condiments. These condiments consists of finely minced pork rolled in egg wrap, pork floss, shrimp paste, minced fish, and chai po is eaten with the rice soaked in scented water and ice. This dish is served mostly only in summer in the Royal household and in those days not available to the general public. Now, you can eat this fish year round at this restaurant plus many more dishes common to the Royals before. #nov2018

Unbranded Cafe - a rather unique name for a small cafe that offers some very tasty treats! Small but cozy and with a menu bordering on “safe” local Thai foods and a mix of easy going fusion, this cafe is a comfortable and homely stop for those seeking a quiet respite from the hot and busy outdoors. We tried the Gourami fried rice or locally known as Khao pad pa silit which was very well done. Pricing is moderate and service is good. Those of you into selfies will find more than one picture perfect corner. Check out this cafe located in Tanao Toad which is not far from the Khaosan area and perfect for those staying nearby! #nov2018

What is better than a great view and good food? If you enjoy both and like the romantic atmosphere without paying a crazy price for food and drinks, then try out the Coffee Club at River City locates just along the Chao Phraya River with a great view of the high rise city skyline along the river. You can watch the activities and boats cruising by while having your drinks or meal.
Prices are reasonable and a good selection including the all day breakfast which is a hefty portion of several sausages, slices of bacon, hash browns, mushrooms, toast, salad and nicely scrambled eggs on the side. The price of THB395 includes a drink to go along with your meal. Highly recommended for that inexpensive dinner date where you want good food, great view and s romantic setting

Issara Estate Winery
This wonderful boutique vineyard and winery owned by the Charn Issara family is a comfortable, homey and warm place not just in the property but also the family. It is a great getaway with beautiful rooms, swimming pool, tennis court and their own waterfall where you can have picnics.
Their working fermentation room is where they hold beautiful functions and serve some of the best cuisine by well renown chefs on a regular basis. They can cater to a wide variety of request for private functions and group events but they also have a great little restaurant in their hotel section that serves really good western and local food on s daily basis.

Great Food and Wine Experience in the Khaoyai Region
If you want a relaxing few days off in great green country with clean air, cool outdoors and good food plus the best vineyard experience, look no further than PB Valley Vineyard and Winery in the Khaoyai area of Nakhon Ratchasima! Come during the flower season too and the harvest season if you want to try a hand at making and stomping on grapes for wine!
The food is great and prices reasonable with fairly large portions. A good mix of western and local Thai but do give the chef special a try, it is always changing.
