The first impression of Shugaa was, wow, what a crazy beautiful place! Second impression: every single customer in the shop was from China. The customer base, was of course not intentional, but because some Chinese influencers successfully shared posts of Shugaa on Weibo, it became a favourite for Chinese tourists. Back to the food, it's easy to mentally-dismiss the products from Shugaa as more pretty than delicious at first sight because too many other places are like that, but after trying a couple of their desserts and drinks, I can safely say that they taste pretty good without being insanely-sweet too. Loved my berry yoghurt drink, and Mirror Mirror on the Wall was a fun eat. PS.
